Men's Ministry:

Men's Ministry exists to introduce men to Jesus Christ, develop Godly character through a deeper relationship with Him and other men, and to equip them to serve as God leads. As men of West Hills, we feel called to foster Christian community beyond corporate worship for men within our congregation. We recognize that men are in different stages of their faith journeys, therefore we strive to provide opportunities that recognize these varying stages.

We will provide opportunities for:

  • learning more about Christ
  • Christian fellowship and fun
  • acceptance, support and encouragement
  • Christ-centered help to face life's challenges
  • discovering each man's spiritual gifts and ministry

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

This ongoing study uses the scripture for the following Sunday's service as the topic. Meet in the lower level conference room on Tuesdays at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast outing after study for all available.

Fellowship Events

Men meet in a welcoming and safe environment in which they may comfortably enter into fellowship with other men. Activities include golf outings, men's breakfasts, and other events. They also host church-wide events such as the pancake breakfasts, Ash Wednesday Fish Fry, and other recreational activities.

JourneyMates

JourneyMates is a contemplative communal prayer experience that incorporates Scripture, teaching on spiritual disciplines, individual silence and small group companioning to deepen our prayer lives. Over the past six years, dozens of people in Omaha have participated in this once-a-month, half-day retreat in everyday life.
