What to expect on your first visit

What to expect on your first visit:

At West Hills, children are always welcome to join you in worship.  We also offer nursery ministry at both services and Sunday School for Preschool-5th grade during the 10:30 worship service.  If you'd like, our greeters will direct you to the nursery area on the main level or the preschool and grade school area on the lower level.

Children six weeks through three years check in at the nursery counter up to 15 minutes before the start of each service.  A nursery staff member will ask you for information to help them care for your child as well as your contact information.  They will put a name tag with a number on your child, and give you the card with the same number which you will present when you come to pick your child up.  If the nursery staff needs to reach you during the service, they will text your cell phone.

Children four years through 5th grade check in at the reception desk beginning at 10:15.  The greeters will ask you to fill out a card with information about your child and your contact information.  Each child is given a numbered wristband and a sticker name tag.  The parent checking the child in will receive a matching number which you will present at the door of the classroom when you come to pick your child up.  Parents walk children to their classroom door where a volunteer staff member will welcome the child to the Fun & Games portion of the morning.
